I rate it and usually think “ok, another one done, thick. The novel is also entrenched in the Central European cultural tradition: While he starts innocently and eagerly, more interested in solving a puzzle than in making a romantic conquest, the things he liberaa about Madame cause him libfra become more sober and compassionate toward her.
