Adequate information on how the population concerned will be warned and kept informed in the event of an accident. The manufacturer shall ensure that the information supplied is updated and re-supplied at appropriate intervals. The quantities apply in each case to each group of installations belonging to the same manufacturer where the distance between the installations is less than meters.
The manufacturer shall be entitled to take urgent and remedial action with respect to an industrial activity in order to put an end to or prevent imminent danger to life or property. Where the manufacturer has commenced an industrial activity before the commencement of these Regulations or has commenced construction of an industrial installation for the purpose of an industrial activity six months before commencement of these Regulations.
