I would deeply appreciate it if Cathy wrote a sequel to this so we could know what happened with that. Coote was only 19 when she wrote this book, but her use of the metaphorical language is amazing.

Like, I get it. This is not what I was expecting from this book. They have sex constantly and she’s constantly manipulating him. However, I must say that the ending is truly shocking…I never expected that to happen, which just made me feel more sympathy for the male character…his naivety is….
